Mezzo-Soprano
Lucy read English Literature at Oxford before receiving the Frances Furness Scholarship for postgraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music. Lucy subsequently continued her studies with Laura Sarti and has recently taken part in the Intensive Opera Course at Associated Studios in London.
Lucy has performed the roles of Grimgerde (Die Walküre) at the St Endellion Festival, Princess (Cocteau in the Underworld) at Grimeborn, Dido (Dido & Aeneas) for Uttoxeter Choral Society and Second Woman (Dido & Aeneas) for The Benslow Trust. Lucy has also covered the roles of Nancy (Albert Herring) for Co-Opera Co.,
Concepcion (L'heure espagnole) at RNCM, Carmen at Bedfordshire Youth Opera, and Irene (Theodora) for
The Benslow Trust.
Lucy has additionally performed staged scenes as Fidalma (Il Matrimonio Segreto), Lucretia (The Rape of Lucretia), Tancredi and Dog (The Cunning Little Vixen) at Associated Studios, Dorabella (Così fan tutte) at the 1st Leeds International Masterclass in Opera Performance and RNCM, Dalinda (Ariodante), Ruggiero (Alcina), Idamante (Idomeneo), Zulma (L'Italiana in Algeri) at RNCM, Annio (La Clemenza di Tito) at City Opera, and Pauline (The Queen of Spades) and Zita (Gianni Schicchi) at Ardingly International Music School.
Future plans include performances as Dorabella in Così fan tutte for Matchbox Opera, the Announcer in Douglas Moore's Gallantry at the Camden and Manchester Fringe Festivals and Princess in Ed Hughes' when the flame dies at the Canterbury Festival.
